The Black Diamond Spot 400 Headlamp is for a technical user who expects all-around performance and features out of their headlamp but still values a small size and compact package. This user has the need to run the lamp on alkaline batteries if caught away from a power source for a long expedition.
The ‘dual-fuel’ system gives you charging flexibility, with a battery meter for monitoring its status. With an IPX8 waterproof rating, this headlamp operates at least 1.1 metres underwater for 30 minutes – so you can beat the dead batteries out bush and brave the after-dark fishing. Beaming with a maximum lumen output of 400, enjoy a dynamic duo of dim and full power with the PowerTap™ technology for instant transitioning. Brightness Memory is the resulting feature of yet another lightbulb moment by Black Diamond, enabling your chosen brightness to remain even after switching off.
From the dark driveways to the blackened paddocks, the headlamp boasts red, green, and blue night-vision - plus full strength, dimming, strobe, and lock modes for ultimate illumination across both proximity and distance. Red night-vision alone offers both strobe and dimming modes, activating without the need to cycle through - making this headlamp your perfect power pioneer at sundown. Lock mode also prevents accidental use when stored in either a pack or a pocket, so you can ride the bumps of rugged scrubs without falling flat.
